Tobi Lütke received data from his annual MRI scan on a USB stick, but it could only be opened in commercial Windows software. Instead, he had Claude build an HTML-based viewer that worked on his Mac.

What they built

Claude was run directly on the USB stick's DICOM files and asked to build an HTML tool for viewing them. After a few tweaks he could scroll through the scans, stack images, zoom and highlight parts of the spine. Annotation and grid overlays were added later based on suggestions from others on X.

The result

A working MRI viewer in a few hours, without commercial software. Lütke called it an example of reaching for AI first.

By Københavns, Aarhus og Aalborg Kommune with KL and Systematic

After two years of testing in municipal health and elderly care, the TALT project shows that AI can be a valuable aid when nurses and care staff write documentation. Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg led the project with Systematic, but the solution needs a legal basis before it can be used in normal operations.
