AI strategy the board can act on.
A ranked roadmap, a straight yes on what to build and a straight no on what to leave alone. Inside 30 days.
The AI strategy engagement turns business goals into a ranked AI roadmap in 30 days. It covers where AI pays off in your company, in what order, with what investment and what expected return. The output is a board-ready document and a prioritised list of systems to build, each with an owner and a business case.
- Timeline
- First roadmap inside 30 days.
- Format
- Workshops with leadership, interviews across the business, desk work in between.

- Ranked roadmap, board memo, business case per initiative.
- Commercial
- Part of the monthly retainer, or a stand-alone fixed-price engagement.
What you get
- A ranked roadmap of AI initiatives, ordered by value and feasibility, not by hype.
- A one-page board memo: what to do, why, what it costs and what it returns.
- A business case per initiative, calculated on your own numbers.
- An explicit list of things not to build, with the reasoning.
- Governance basics: data, risk and EU AI Act obligations for the initiatives on the list.
How it works
It starts with leadership: what the company is trying to achieve in the next two to three years, and where the pressure is. Then interviews across operations, sales, finance and support, because the people doing the work know where the hours go. Then the data: what exists, where it lives, and what shape it is in.
From that comes a long list of candidate initiatives, scored on value, feasibility and risk. The top of the list becomes the roadmap. The bottom becomes the list of things to leave alone, which is often the most useful page in the document.
Who it is for
Companies whose leadership has been asked "what is our AI strategy?" and does not yet have an answer that survives a follow-up question. Also companies with a pile of experiments and no way to decide which ones matter.
Less relevant if you already have a clear roadmap and simply need it built. In that case, start with the build engagement.
Questions buyers ask
How long does the AI strategy take?
The first ranked roadmap is delivered inside 30 days from the first workshop. Larger companies with many business units may take longer, and that is agreed up front.
Do we need clean data before the strategy?
No. Assessing the state of the data is part of the work. The roadmap accounts for what needs fixing before an initiative can run.
Is the strategy tied to a particular vendor or model?
No. Recommendations are made on fit and cost, and the roadmap is written so it survives the next model release.
What happens after the roadmap is delivered?
Either you build it with your own team, using the architecture notes, or the engagement continues into audit and build under the same retainer.
