What they built
An email agent built in Zapier sorts the inbox into fixed categories: needs action, to be handled by the assistant, or FYI only. Foster reviews only what needs his attention. Zapier also has workflows that help its salespeople, and has candidates build with AI during the hiring process to test their AI skills.
The result
Of over 100 emails a day, Foster sees around 10. According to him, internal AI adoption at Zapier is close to 100%.
