At Hannover Messe 2026, Schneider Electric showed its industrial copilot, built on Azure AI, and agentic manufacturing. According to the company, it is already delivering measurable results for customers.

What they built

An AI copilot that helps automation engineers configure controllers, generate code and documentation, and make changes to production lines. At Indian green hydrogen producer H2E Power, the platform also runs autonomous operation of high-temperature electrolysis.

The result

Engineering teams report up to 50% time savings on configuration and documentation, and line changes take hours instead of weeks. At H2E Power, the platform has run over 6,000 hours of stable autonomous operation, and hydrogen costs have fallen by up to 10%, equivalent to around €500,000 a year for a typical 10 MW plant.
