The Danish pension and welfare administrator ATP built a generative AI assistant that turns phone calls with citizens into short, precise call notes. ATP says it saves 16,000 working hours a year and has noticeably lifted job satisfaction among its customer advisers.
What they built
A GPT-based journal assistant that listens to the speech stream of a customer call and proposes a draft call note for the adviser to check. ATP handles around 2.5 million calls a year, and the assistant was being rolled out to 600 employees. Group executive Haktan Bulut, responsible for IT and technology, is quoted on the project.
The result
Self-reported: 16,000 working hours saved per year, with higher satisfaction among customer advisers. Expected to reach 600 employees within months.
