A web developer had Claude Code build a demo ordering app, branded it for three local coffee shops and walked in to show it. The first owner bought it within five minutes, and the app now runs in daily production.
What they built
A SvelteKit web app. Guests scan a QR code at their table to order from their phone, orders land in a barista CRM with the table number, and staff have their own logins to push orders to the bar. A Telegram mini-app login gives loyal customers 20% off after five orders and lets the shop send push offers to its own customer list. The demo took about 40 minutes and the core build three days.
The result
Self-reported: sold for $700 (plus a permanent 50% discount at the shop). It has been stable in production, serving customers every day.
